About Me

My name is Katie.

I grew up in Phenix City, Alabama as the daughter of Rodney and Debbie and the granddaughter of Bill and Charlotte and Leonard and Marilyn. I had an amazing childhood. I went to college in Lakeland, Florida and currently live in Birmingham, AL where I met the love of my life, Jonathan Clampit.

We met at Highlands College Orientation, went to Waffle House 6 weeks later, and the rest is history. Jonathan and I were married on March 3, 2018, and he is my favorite human on the planet.

Full-time I am a social worker who helps adults. In my spare time I like to read, write, eat good food, drink coffee, and spend time in the sun on a beach.

In 2010 I faced one of the darkest seasons of my life, and Jesus met me in that darkness and started me on a journey that forever changed my life. This platform is where I choose to share that journey because I believe we all have areas of our life where we need to learn how to be loved so that we can learn how to trust.
